A readiness drill codenamed “Dasteri 2026” was conducted at the facilities of Dasteri S.A., with the participation of the Fire Service and EKAB.

The drill was based on a fire outbreak scenario within the company’s premises, involving the simultaneous activation of the emergency response plan, staff evacuation, and the coordinated intervention of the competent services. In this context, Fire Service units undertook the firefighting operation and incident management, while EKAB actively participated in providing first aid and managing simulated casualties.

During the drill, several aspects were assessed, including response times, the implementation of evacuation procedures, and the coordination between the involved authorities and the company’s personnel, under a realistic simulation of emergency conditions. The drill was completed smoothly, and the conclusions drawn are expected to be used to improve emergency response plans and overall operational preparedness.

The active participation of the Fire Service and EKAB highlights the importance of cooperation between the private and public sectors for the effective management of crises, while strengthening a culture of prevention and preparedness.
